This Monbazillac has a bright and limpid golden yellow color.

The intense nose is marked by notes of exotic fruits and lychee ; it reveals light oaky aromas as the wine is swirled.

The mouth is particularly lively, elegant and gives way to lemon and apricot flavors. It evolves into exotic notes (passion fruit, pineapple, litchi) with a beautiful length.

VINEYARD

Average age of the vines: 35 years
Average density of vines: 5500 vines per hectare
Soil type: hillside clay-limestone soil (Monbazillac plateau)

WINEMAKING

Manual harvest by successive passes (between 3 and 4 passes depending on the blocks)
Average yield of 22 hl/ha
Pneumatic pressing for 3 to 4 hours followed by 24 hours of cold settling (about 4°C)
Alcoholic fermentation 100% in French oak barrels around 18°C then cold “mutage”
Aging for 10 months 100% in French oak barrels (2nd-fill of the barrels)
Bottling in September 2023
Cellaring: enjoy now until 2037
