Brilliant pale-yellow color with green reflections.

The nose opens with delicate notes of fruits and white flowers. After swirling, the nose reveals itself more with white fruits (peach) and citrus fruits (grapefruit).

On the palate, there is a nice balance between the freshness and complexity of the Sauvignon Blanc (yellow and white fruits, broom flower) and the density and the smoothness of the Sémillon. The finish is marked by its minerality characteristic of KALIAN’s terroir.

This wine is included in the Pack Bergerac AOP, Pack Discovery and Pack Young Wines.

Average age of the vines: 20 years
Average density of the vines: 5000 vines per hectare
Nature of the soil: hillside clay-limestone soil (Monbazillac plateau)

WINEMAKING

Manual harvest for the Sémillon grape variety; mechanical harvest for the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety
Average yield of 40 hl/ha
24 hours of skin contact maceration for the Sauvignon Blanc variety; direct whole-cluster pressing for the Sémillon variety
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperature
Aging on lees in stainless steel tanks with regular stirring of the fine lees
Bottling in April 2024
Total Sulfur Dioxide (sulfites): 51 mg/l (Organic limit: 150 mg/l)
Cellaring: enjoy now until 2028
